The O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) cordially invites you to the Bengaluru Sustainability Conclave on ‘Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals: Role of Universities & Civil Society in Protecting the Environment’. Hon'ble Governor of Karnataka Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot is the chief guest and will release the Sustainability Development Report (SDR) 2021 at the conclave.
Setting a global benchmark, JGU (Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University) has become the first university to fully implement the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) stipulated by the United Nations on its campus, despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. An independent assessment of the University's progress in compliance with the United Nations SDGs was carried out by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), Trust Legal, Advocates and Consultants and Mazars Business Advisors Pvt Ltd. The UN SDGs include affordable and sustainable energy, combating climate change, eradicating hunger, education, health and gender equality.
