*Puducherry Home Minister drives down to participate in Bengaluru's EV expo*

Bengaluru, May 7, 2022: The second day of the KEYS Expo and Green Energy Summit 2022 saw hundreds of industry experts and EV enthusiasts flocking to the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) to have a first-hand experience of the EVs. This is the first-of-its kind EV expo in the City to introduce a range of EVs to Bengalureans.




 
Mr A.Namassivayam (Hon'ble Minister for Home, Electricity, Industries and Commerce, Education including collegiate Education, Sports and youth welfare, Sainik Welfare, Govt of Puducherry) drove down from Puducherry to BIEC on Saturday afternoon to take part in the EV expo. Speaking to the media, Mr Namassivayam said that he was thrilled to be part of this EV expo. He said that EVs were the future of transportation in the country and this expo gave an insight into the wide range of EVs which are already available in the market.
 
This EV expo has created a platform for EV industries by giving them an opportunity to showcase their latest vehicles to Bengalureans. On the other hand, many of the dealers were also offering spot discounts for the vehicles besides giving them a chance to test drive the EVs. Many enthusiasts were awestruck with the EVs as they went around the venue to get their first hand experience of driving a green energy bike.
