 Unique programme launched by Minister Umesh Katti

Officials will visit people and solve their problems in Hukkeri and Sankeshwar towns

Till now, people used to visit government offices to get their work done. However, in Hukkeri and Sankeshwar towns, it is the other way round. The Government officials will instead reach out to people for solving the people's problems. This unique experiment has been launched by Minister for Forest, Food and Civil Supplies Mr Umesh Katti.

 

Mr Katti, the senior most MLA in the State has launched this special programme to help people. A team of officials including AC and Tahsildar will visit every ward In Hukkeri and Sankeshwar towns for providing on the spot solutions to people. In case if the issue needs to be addressed by taluk level officers, then the issue will be directly taken up by the Minister who will discuss with the officials for providing solutions. In fact, Mr Katti has ensured that this programme should be executed in a seamless manner and hence he will take stock of the situation every day.

 

Speaking to the media, Mr Katti said, "I want to make Hukkeri a model constituency in the entire country. More than Rs 100 crore worth development projects are being taken up in the constituency. As I want to reach every individual in my constituency, I have launched this special programme. If the public is not satisfied with the response from the officials, they can reach out to me directly."
