Ms.Pooja V (22 years), Co-Founder, Alchemy Pine-Apple Leaf Fibre Manufactures and Traders (Alchemy PALF MAT), Chennai, has won the award for “Best Business Pitch” at the All-India Level Youth Festival 2023 (Yuvotsav 2023) conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) on January 12^th 2023 at Noida, Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of 160^th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and CS Asish Mohan (Secretary), CS Devendra V Despande (Former President ICSI 2022), CS Manish Gupta (President ICSI 2023) & CS Nagendra D Rao (Former President ICSI 2021) did the honours. 

She completed Foundation Level of Company Secretary at ICSI in 2018 and is currently pursing CS Executive Level at ICSI.She founded the start-up “Alchemy Pine-Apple Leaf Fibre Manufactures and Traders (Alchemy PALF MAT)”, Chennai, with her mother, Dr.T.Yasodha, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., F.I.S.E.C., in 2017 at Erode for the production of Fibre without using any chemicals focusing on “Zero-Waste Management”. 

Dr.T.Yasodha had published many research articles related to this and they are scaling up the process to industrial level to achieve the production of commodities. The products are useful in the textile and paper industries.
