Governor Honors Shri Ganapati Satchidananda Swamiji with Prestigious Honorary Doctorate

Bangalore, October 31, 2023 - In a momentous ceremony held today at the Raj Bhavan, Bangalore, Pujya Shri Ganapati Satchidananda Swamiji was conferred with an esteemed Honorary Doctorate. This honor was presented by the honorable Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot, Governor of Karnataka, as part of the 6th convocation of Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hanagal University of Music and Performing Arts.









In his address, Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot underlined the rich cultural legacy of India, emphasizing the pivotal role played by institutions like Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hanagal University in preserving and promoting the invaluable heritage of culture, art, and music.

Reflecting on the occasion, Governor Gehlot remarked, "Today, Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hanagal University of Music and Performing Arts confers Honorary Doctorate degrees to distinguished individuals who have demonstrated exceptional prowess in Education, Art, Music, Literature, and Social Affairs. Acknowledging Swamiji's monumental contributions, Governor Gehlot added, "Vijayanagara Srikrishnadevaraya University, Bellary, and World Classical Tamil University, London, have both recognized Sri Swamiji's profound impact by awarding him Honorary Doctorates in Music and Shri Doctor of Letters, respectively. I extend my heartfelt congratulations for these well-deserved honors."

Governor Gehlot applauded Swamiji's extensive efforts in establishing ashrams, institutes, and transformative projects worldwide, dedicated to the welfare of all living beings.
