SSLC ಫಲಿತಾಂಶದ – ಏರಿಳಿತ!

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು 27.02.2024 ಮಂಗಳವಾರ: ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೇವೆಯು ಮಾನವ ಮತ್ತು ದೈವಿಕ ಸೇವೆಯಾಗಿದೆ, ವೈದ್ಯರನ್ನು ದೇವರ ರೂಪವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಎಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ವೈದ್ಯರು ನೈತಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮಾನವ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಥಾವರ್ ಚಂದ್ ಗೆಹ್ಲೋಟ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ನಗರದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾದ ಥಾವರ್ ಚಂದ್ ಗೇಹಲೊಟ್ ಅವರು ರಾಜೀವ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ 26ನೇ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಭಾರತವು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ಚರಕನನ್ನು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯುರ್ವೇದ ಮತ್ತು ಔಷಧದ ಪಿತಾಮಹ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ಸುಶ್ರುತನನ್ನು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಪಿತಾಮಹ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯದ ನಂತರ, ದೇಶವು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದೆ, ಇದು ಭಾರತೀಯರ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ವಿಶ್ವ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಅನೇಕ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದೆ. ದೇಶದ ಹಲವು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏಮ್ಸ್ ರೀತಿಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ದಿನಮಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬನೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಉತ್ತಮ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ಉತ್ತಮ ರೋಗಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞರು ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ತಮ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಭಾರತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವು ಹೊಸ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಳೆಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.  ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 706 ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 1,08,848 ಎಂಬಿಬಿಎಸ್ ಸೀಟುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 67802 ಪಿಜಿ ಸೀಟುಗಳಿವೆ. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ 68 ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ 24 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು, 25 ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 07 ಖಾಸಗಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು, 12 ಡೀಮ್ಡ್ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 11595 ಎಂಬಿಬಿಎಸ್ ಸೀಟುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 6400 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪಿಜಿ ಸೀಟುಗಳಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು

ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟಪ್ ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಭಾರತದ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿ ಇದೆ. ಕೊರೊನಾ ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕದ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರಲು ಲಸಿಕೆ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬನೆಯಿಂದ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. ಆರೋಗ್ಯವು ದೇವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸಂಪತ್ತು. ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಮೆದುಳು ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದೆ, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿ 'ಸ್ವಯಂಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಸೇವೆ' ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು. "ಸರ್ವೇ ಭವಂತು ಸುಖಿನಃ, ಸರ್ವೇ ಸಂತು ನಿರಾಮಯಃ" ಎಂಬ ಮನೋಭಾವದಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದಿನ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತೊಡುಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಡಾ.ಜಿ.ಕೆ. ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ಜಿ, ಡಾ. ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬಿರಾದಾರ್ , ಡಾ.ಪಿಂಕಿ ಭಾಟಿಯಾ ಟೋಪಿವಾಲಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು, ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಸಾಧಕರ ಸೇವೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
